If fashion is your passion, many opportunities exist for investing in the fashion industry. If you’re forex trading or keeping an eye on the news, you know that the global markets are changing continuously. This fluctuation extends to the fashion industry. When currency rates go up and down, you’ll see new opportunities for the import and export of clothing and accessories between countries.

Choose a Clothing Line That Moves You

Ask anyone who is forex trading, investing in real estate or auditioning for his next movie role, one of the requirements of success in any venture is enjoying what you do. When investing in the fashion industry, you must love fashion. Choose a clothing line or item that you can market easily because you enjoy wearing it and actually enjoy seeing it worn by other people.

Partner With a Knowledgeable Investor

If you love the creative side of fashion and need help with the logistics, accounting and exporting aspects of the business, partner with a knowledgeable person who has mastered these tasks. You might travel together to a country that manufactures clothing for lower prices. While your partner does the math about whether the purchase will bring in the profits at the current exchange rate, you can picture if the clothing will be a hit back home.

Investing in the fashion industry can be a fun and lucrative venture. To make money doing what you enjoy, pay attention to both the creative aspects of the industry as well as the global economic forces at play.

Do you want a Jack Sparrow costume? Do you want to make one? We’ll tell you how. You can strut around with your Jack Sparrow costume, attend parties, and show them off to everyone. It’s so much fun!

Makeup

The most essential part of the Jack Sparrow look is the makeup. Use black eyeliner to drape the upper line and lower line of your eyes with black lines.

You need to look rugged. For that you need to get the tanned look. Use bronze foundation to get the tanned look.

Headwear

Jack Sparrow wears a bandana. The ends of the bandana touch the shoulders. A deep red color should do. Muted pink is the ideal color. See if you can get this color. The bandana should be attached with beads and at the end by a medallion.

Jack sparrow wears a hat too. You can get a heavy fabric to make the hat. Cut the hat in a circular shape, and pull it up from three points. Attach the three points together.

Clothes

A v-neck t-shirt is the Jack Sparrow inner wear. The t-shirt is over-worn with a vest. It is long, unbuttoned, and neatly fitted. The color should be charcoal. The vest should be the ideal color and should match with the look of Jack Sparrow in the film.

Pants

Pants should not be a problem. But the color of the pants should be dark grey. The pants are not full-length. They are about knee-length. Four buttons should be placed at the upper half of the pant.

Ever wonder how come your favorite celebrities always look so trendy and flawless? Well, most likely they have a stylist who they pay plenty of money to keep them looking fashionable. You don’t have to get a stylist and go-for-broke to copy your favorite celebrity looks. You can shop thrifty and still be worthy of being on the best dressed list. Here are some tips on how to dress like a celebrity for less.

Buy Used or Off-Season Items

If you’re really into brands names and must have the hottest Jimmy Choo shoes but can’t afford the hefty price, then you can use websites like eBay to find used or off-season merchandise. The key is to purchase items that are trendy and yet classic enough not to go out of style in the next month.

Shop at Discount Stores

Discount doesn’t have to mean ugly or cheap. Stores like T.J. Maxx and Marshalls sell trendy name-brand clothing for less. To copy a celebrity look, you can bring a magazine page when browsing the aisles to find the perfect outfit. Stores like these also let you do layaway so you won’t miss out on good deals if you don’t have all the money immediately.

Accessorize and Emphasize

Fashion is all about having something that stands out and draws attention to your best features. Your celebrity look can be bold without being over-the-top. You can turn a simple outfit into a show-stopper with the right earrings, necklace or belt. To be even more fabulous, select accessories that highlight your assets such as your eye color or skin tone.

Dressing like a celebrity has its price. It’s exactly that: the price tag. Of course, not everyone has that much money to blow on clothes, shoes, and other accessories. Since all shoppers enjoy feeling and looking good though, searching for sites with deals can be a positive experience.

Obviously, items go on sale once or several times a year. Keeping an eye on those sale items is the first option when shoppers are looking for great items at lower prices. A website based on finding exceptional coupons and local sales is a great start to thrifty good looks. Many local stores offer celebrity fashion styles without high-end name brands that hike the prices.

Every celebrity has a pair of sunglasses that fit him or her perfectly. Designs vary greatly, from larger lenses for hiding much of the face, to smaller specs that give a stylish and thoughtful ambience. Brands such as Gucci, Christian Dior, and Armani are available on wholesale websites as well as in some stores.

Shoes are a key element in celebrity fashion. Mimicking Hollywood’s most glamorous may include sporting a pair of strappy sandals, high heel boots, or ballet flats. Regardless of preference, sales in stores and on websites make it easy to choose all of these shoes. Try pairing skinny jeans with flats, or a skirt with sensuous sandals.

Last, celebrity icons always seem to have amazing hats. Customers do not have to purchase a lot of these. Just a few is fine. Large-brimmed hats are excellent for warmer weather, and fluffy winter hats in bold colors can warm up any winter day.

So, the fashion line that has all the celebs going gaga (no relation to Lady Gaga) is exactly what? French lines? English designs? Dresses dripping in diamonds?

Nike.

Wait.

Nike?

Nike.

Really?

Absolutely.

In the world of celebrity sports and the entertainment industry, Nike Clothing, and its products, reign supreme.

The infamous line holds famous celebrity sports celebrations such as Pacquiao for the People, which was a rock in vent to honor Manny Pacquiao, the current World Champion Boxer. Nike can also been seen on the feet of famous artists like Kanye West, who is sporting the all new Nike Air Yeezy 2 before it was officially released. Nike is always on the inside of celebrity news.

For instance, one big celebrity that is making Nike news is the DC rapper, Wale, who is famous for his absolute passion for sneakers. Wales is sending Nike Foamposites to Nigeria, as well as clothes as a donation to the needy. Way to go, Wale!

And then there is Glee’s Lea Michele for whom Nike specialists created a special workout program, with shoes and all, that is now available to club members. Did we mention that Nike clothing reigns supreme in the entertainment industry?

One of the most incredible Nike product that has ever been conceived is actually Number 6 on the list of the world’s most celebrity expensive clothing. This is a pair of sneakers that sold for $90,000!

That is right, $90,000 – and the reason? The Nike emblem is rimmed in diamonds. The sneakers were bought by Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and remain one of the fashion world’s great collector’s tems.

So, if you want posh and cool, there is nothing like Nike!

Here’s the top-seven list for guys who buffed up for movie or TV roles. Some of them really blossomed, some of them merely touched up what they already had.

1.) Chris Evans hopes to capture hearts this year with his hotness on screen as “Captain America: The First Avenger.” It’s not his first superhero role, but he buffed up a whole lot since his “Fantastic Four” films.

2.) “Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time” last year showed us just how buff Jake Gyllenhaal got. His routine now includes a hard workout to keep him ripped.

3.) “Thor,” starring Chris Hemsworth changed Chris’ looks completely. He had to put on 20 pounds and he did it by eating tons of chicken and working out until he looked like the God of Thunder.

4.) 2004’s “Blade Trinity” starred heartthrob Ryan Reynolds. Ryan went through a transformation from scrawny kid in 2002 to the well-built super vampire hunter he played in “Blade Trinity.”

5.) Last but not least is Hugh Jackman in 2009’s “Wolverine.” He went from a singing dancer on Broadway to the metal-clawed superhero mutant in the movies. How’d he do it? By lifting everything, he said.

6.) “Thor,” starring Chris Hemsworth is this year’s new stud. He’s always been good looking but now he looks like the God of Thunder. He ate tons of chicken and worked out hard.

7.) We’re used to laughing at Seth Rogen, but for his “The Green Hornet” role, he was very serious. He sports a more confident walk now, and deservedly so, having gone from a chubby boy to athletic young man.

In recent years, celebrities have not only been known for their talent, exciting and fast lifestyles or their celebrity fashion, but their pets have risen to the forefront of what’s popular. The likes of Snooki, Betty White, Miley Cyrus and her new pup, Paris Hilton and her Pomeranian dog Kimchi, Hillary Swank with her two beautiful puppies, and yes even America’s favorite cook, Martha Stewart with her French Bulldogs, make it seem trendy to be a pet owner.

Not everyone is going to be in the entertainment industry and have celebrity money, fame, clothes and fortune, but our pets can sure look the part when outfitted in one of many pet costumes available. Your pet can go around like a pirate one day, and like Santa Claus the next and look as good as any celebrity pet. The opportunity is endless. You and your family will have loads of fun at home or away when your dog dresses up in a fun dog costumes.

Celebrity pet owners may have brought to light how fun and fabulous it is to own a pet and the many amazing things that can be done with them. However, those of us who have been loving pets for a long time have been enjoying our pets for a long time. Celebrity pet owners are not the only ones that know that pets are not just for walking, feeding, and meeting us at the door but are in actuality, trusted companions that are able to go just about any place we do, even our purses!

Celebrities have always had a say in influencing fashion. They are blessed with ideal bodies and bottomless pocketbooks that give them endless opportunities to create impeccable styles. Although most of us are on limited budgets and don’t have access to designer resources, there are ways we can copy celebrity trends to form our own personal styles.

One of the trends sweeping Hollywood is stripes. In a year that brought floral patterns and polka dots back to the forefront, simple stripes have also been resurrected. Celebrities like Ashley Tinsdale have been spotted wearing horizontal striped tops or toting striped bags. Since the stripe pattern has been around the block a few times, you can check thrift stores for great vintage pieces to pair with your favorite jeans. Flare legs are back in style this season, so forgo the skinny jeans and break out the denim from a few years ago. When in doubt, read up on the latest Hollywood gossip to find up-to-date trends and see what colors are gracing the red carpet.

As for footwear, celebrities have been spotted wearing wood-soled sandals, another fashion item with a vintage air. Put on a coat of Katy Perry or Serena Williams nail polish and you’ve achieved a celebrity look in no time, with plenty of change to spare.

To keep your checkbook balanced, set aside a fashion budget each month. Consider opening a prepaid credit card, such as the Tom Joyner REACH card, or even a special savings account. Keep in mind that you don’t have to buy designer labels to look like a celebrity, since it’s more about eclectic tastes than the name on the tag.

Image yourself on the red carpet at the biggest Hollywood award shows or signing autographs for your star struck fans. This could be you living the dream life. But have you ever thought how you would get there? If you want to be an entertainment star with staying power then be prepared to work hard. Here is a how-to guide to become an A-list entertainer.

1. Pursue Your Passion Not What’s Popular

Popularity is based on trends and trends are temporary. So don’t waste precious time chasing after something that’s popular if it’s not your passion. Your passion for your craft will keep you going even in the face of adversity.

2. Be Open to Work for Free

If whatever you’re doing is your passion, then doing it for free is not a negative; it’s an opportunity to showcase your talent. Some things you can do include joining the arts ministry if you attend a church, contacting your community’s recreational office to find out about events looking for talent, and going to as many open auditions as possible.

3. Get Academic Training or Professional Coaching

If you’re able to go to college or get professional coaching to perfect your craft, then you will have a huge advantage. Doing this will take you from an amateur “wannabe” to a professional.

4. Develop a Professional Portfolio

If you want to be recognized as a professional then having a professional portfolio will give you a competitive edge. This shows talent casting agents that you mean business and you’re a worthwhile investment.

Follow this how-to guide and you will be moving in the right direction to stardom.

Oscars Night is the night a nation full of hungry eyes turns to the television to learn about the year’s movies, see who wins what, and hungrily judge Hollywood’s fashion choices. This year’s Oscars ceremony was no exception. There were hits, there were near misses, and then there were the nightmares. This list represents the worst of the worst.

Melissa Leo. Melissa, what were you thinking? This dress looked like someone laid their grandmother’s doily on top of gold foil. The collar was huge and it looked ill-fitting. Though this dress wasn’t nearly as memorable as her acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor, in which the actress said the f-word on national television.

Marisa Tomei. This former Oscar-winning actress should have stunned in her vintage 50′s dress, but the dress looked cheap on Tomei. Her hair looked like she hadn’t brushed it that day and it definitely didn’t match her retro getup. It was not a good day for Tomei.

Nicole Kidman. Kidman’s white dress had a very odd shape to it. While this dress looked great on the runway, it looked hideous on Kidman. It made her hips look wide and the white color seemed to wash out her skin. It looked a little like origami. The hem was also a really weird length. Kidman has stunned so many times on the red carpet that it was really a shock to see her in such an odd choice.

Cate Blanchett. This is easily the most controversial choice on this list, because Blanchett’s dress was a stunning creation by famed designer Givenchy. Unfortunately, the dress photographs beautifully, but it didn’t look right on the red carpet. The bubbled texture was really odd and the shoulders were an odd shape. The color combination didn’t read well on camera. It was a beautifully artistic dress, but not the right choice for the the Academy Awards red carpet.
